Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about brewing your own beverages at home.

What comes in a Craft a Brew starter kit?

Our kits include all the essential equipment and ingredients needed for your first batch, including a glass carboy, funnel, racking cane, rubber stopper, transfer tubing, tubing clamp, airlock, sanitizer, and a specific recipe kit with malts, hops, and yeast.

How long does the brewing process take from start to finish?

Most of our beer and wine kits require about 3 to 4 weeks total. This typically includes 2 weeks for fermentation and an additional 2 weeks for bottle conditioning to achieve the perfect carbonation.

Do I need any additional equipment that isn't in the kit?

You will only need a few common kitchen items: a large stockpot (at least 2 gallons), a stirrer, and approximately 10-12 empty pry-off beer bottles to store your finished brew.

How should I store my ingredients if I'm not brewing immediately?

To ensure maximum freshness, we recommend storing your yeast and hops in the refrigerator. Dry malt extracts and grains should be kept in a cool, dry, and dark pantry.

What is your return policy for brewing kits?

We offer a 30-day return policy for unused and unopened kits. Due to the perishable nature of food ingredients, we cannot accept returns on kits that have been opened or brewed.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship our brewing kits worldwide. Please note that shipping rates and delivery times vary by destination, and customers are responsible for any local customs duties or taxes.
